Regional Skills and Employment Plan – Welsh Language in North Wales

Last week saw the release of the Welsh language in North Wales report, which saw the latest statistics compiled and the plan of the language outlined.

Focusing on key areas such as the workplace, education and the Welsh Governments own strategy, it focused on the plan going ahead including that of the ‘Cymraeg 2050’ which aims for one million Welsh speakers in Wales by the year 2050.

Assessing where the language is now and what needs to be improved, including some shortages in certain sectors, the honest review aims to step back and view the situation and where to target going forward.
