GDPR - What does it mean and where do you start?

If you are a business in North Wales or anywhere around the United Kingdom, you’ve surely heard of the changes to GDPR.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most important change in the data privacy regulation in 20 years.

With GDPR coming into effect in May 2018 it is essential that businesses of all sizes understand what will be required of them to stay on the right side of the laws.

In the next two months there will be sessions provided across North Wales to advise those who want more information, and will cover an overview of GDPR including what organisations should be doing right now to ensure that they are a step ahead as the deadline for compliance approaches.

The session is aiming to be interactive and to discuss real world situations, which every business faces, and ways to handle these challenges in line with the new laws.

As such, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss the best approaches to handling personal data in any situation moving forward.

You will also be talking about the key areas of security required under the new regulation and how to demonstrate this commitment to data protection with Business Wales’ leading experts.

An opportunity not to be missed to ensure that you are clued up and ready for the incoming changes, you can find out where and when these sessions are taking place.

Be advised that there is one delegated per business for this event.
