The Wylfa Newydd Nuclear Power Station which has had major announcment made in recent weeks will be hosting a session to discuss supply chain oppurtunities in Wrexham in the coming days.
The site on Angelsey could open up 8,500 jobs during it’s construction phase and almost a thousand once it reaches it’s completion, making it one of the biggest projects being undertaken in North Wales.
Now, the site manager Daron Hodges and his team including Toby Hopkins the head of Health & Safety & Environmental as well as Emergency Prepardness, Safety and Licensing will be talking to participants about the project and potential oppurtunities.
The session that will last around three hours on June 19th will be held at the Catrin Finch Centre at Glyndwr University in Wrexham from 11pm, discussing a number of aspects of the new site.

- Security at Wylfa Newydd
- Environmental consideration at Wylfa Newydd
- Quality at Wylfa Newydd
- Commercial and how to register with the new Horizon Nuclear Power portal
The event is free to attend whilst support is available to anyone who wants to increase their capability to engage in the nuclear sector.
